  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons instant espresso
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup half and half

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Heat heavy cream and sugar together in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves. Whisk in cocoa powder, espresso, vanilla, almond extract and salt.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Stir in half-and-half and refrigerate until ready to serve.
