Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Combine apple slices, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Transfer to a small ovenproof pan and evenly spread out.
Bake apples in the preheated oven, stirring occasionally, about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Meanwhile, make the caramel sauce. Combine brown sugar, heavy cream, butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a saucepan. Set over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Mix 1/3 cup of the caramel mixture and cream cheese in a bowl. Reserve the rest.
Lightly dust a work surface and roll pizza dough into a circle. Spread caramel-cream cheese mixture onto the dough. Sprinkle apples and pecans on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or according to pizza dough instructions.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce on top and enjoy!
